IGas super injunction taken to High Court
Ian Crane and Paul Powlesland QC are in court this week defending our human right to protest.
Previously, without prior warning and in a secret court, IGas applied for and obtained a super injunction to cover 3 hydraulic fracturing sites – Misson Springs near Doncaster, Tinker Lane near Blyth and Ellesmere Port in Cheshire. This injunction prevents the public from effectively protesting their fracking activities.
Frack Free Misson’s GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to pay the legal fees has surpassed it’s goal of £5,000.

Recurring seismic events throughout October meant fracking at the new site in Lancashire had to be repeatedly put on hold.
Most events could not be felt, although locals did report feeling the most recent 1.5 tremor.
